“Like most brides, my wedding day is a haze of hair spray, make-up brushes and popping champagne bottles and like most brides it was the most amazing day of my life.
When planning our wedding my husband and I had a very strict criteria for choosing our Celebrant…. whoever we chose needed to be as relaxed as we were about getting married and had to be someone who looked like they could be one of our guests (no-one over dressed with too much make-up on who made the whole event about them – trust me, we have been to many weddings where the Celebrant attempted to steal the show).
Natasha fit that criteria perfectly. Natasha has a relaxed professionalism about her that made no question too silly and no suggestion seem insignificant but also left no detail undiscussed and while we didn’t have a traditional rehearsal due to the locations of our Bridal Party, Natasha took the time to meet with us to run through the ceremony and ease any butterflies we might have had. We were married on the Sunday Brisbane was hit by Cyclone Oswald and faced cyclonic winds and rains that threatened to flood Brisbane (again!). Natasha fully understood the unpredictability of Mother Nature and was more than willing to go along with the minute-to-minute changes that ended up taking place.
It was lovely with all the of the factors that were changing by the minute (where we held the ceremony, where we were getting photos, if the marquee our reception was going to be held in would withstand the wind) that we were able to rest assured that we had chose the right Celebrant, who had taken time to get to know my husband and I so well. “
